AWS User Group Sydney #04 – Landing Zones

Hi everyone,

We will be hosting the AWS User Group again next Wednesday a week from now at the AWS offices park street. Jump over to the meetup page for more info and to RSVP – https://www.meetup.com/AWS-Sydney/events/kvpkrqyzjbhb/. We request that attendee’s RSVP by Wednesday afternoon so that we can provide the security list to AWS.

This month we will be hearing from Gerald Bachlmayr on why friends don’t let friends build Landing Zones. As multi-account AWS architectures are becoming more prevalent, there is a real need for fast and repeatable account setup. That’s where Landing Zones come in. David Williams will also be presenting on Fargate & Session Manager, so packed full of new(ish) AWS services this month.

It was announced at the previous meetup that the winner of the Draw Prize would be decided by best photograph with our stress-ball Polar Bears. Due to the positioning of the Summit, this will be extended to next month to give more opportunity to enter a photo, and pick up a Polar Bear if you weren’t able to already.

See you next week!
